Sellback Returns and Cancelations

Can I cancel my Sellback order?

You will not be able to cancel your quote after confirmation. However, you may simply not ship in your item if you are unable to.

If your order has already been placed in transit or received, it may not be possible to cancel. For further assistance, please contact us.

Why was one of my items not accepted for Sellback?

All items that are shipped to us for Sellback will be subject to an evaluation process. Items may be rejected for Sellback if:

• They violate one or more of our Sellback polices.
• They do not meet our acceptable item qualities.
• They do not arrive at our warehouse within 20 days of the quote date and the quote expired.
• The item was not included in your Sellback shipment.
• The ISBN received at our warehouse does not match the ISBN on your packing slip.

Can I get Sellback items that were not approved sent back to me?

Yes, we are happy to return any items not approved for purchase.

If one or more of your Sellback items fails to meet our standards, we will notify you via email and update your order details page. You have 14 days from the time of this notification to request that your items be returned to you.

To submit this request, open your order page and click on the "PayPal" button under the "Pay for Return Shipping" text.

Rejected items typically take 14-21 business days to be returned once requested.

If we do not hear from you within 14 calendar days, your items will be recycled. 

Do I have to use PayPal for return shipping?

Unfortunately, at this time we only accept PayPal for the return shipping costs.

How much is return shipping for a non-approved item?

The cost is $4.95. This is the regular shipping fee plus processing.

What happens if a Sellback item is suspected to be counterfeit?

We take the issue of counterfeit textbooks very seriously. A counterfeit book is an unauthorized copy, imitation or replica of an original copyrighted book, produced by some source other than the identified and authorized publisher/copyright holder or licensee. By taking part in our Sellback program you represent and warrant that any item sent to us is a legitimate copy, and acknowledge that we cannot issue payment or return any item that is determined to be counterfeit or fraudulent.

If we determine that an item sent to us exhibits characteristics that indicate it might be counterfeit, we will forward the item to the relevant publisher for further inspection. If the the book is confirmed as counterfeit, then it will be confiscated and destroyed and we may be required to provide source information to the publisher.

If the publisher determines that the item is a legitimate copy, then we will notify you and issue the originally quoted payment. This process may take one to three months, we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.
